It is a hybrid between 'Diablo' and 'Darts Gold.' It is useful in the landscape as a border or background for perennial or annual flower beds or in foundation plantings of larger buildings. Hardiness: Zone 3 Ornamental features: The foliage provides an accent of color in the landscape during the entire growing season. Newly emerging leaves are rosy red in color with a bright golden yellow base. As leaves mature they become darker and are deep burgundy color at maturity. Flower buds are light pink opening to 1 ½” wide clusters of small white flowers that contrast nicely with the foliage. After completion of bloom, the developing seed heads are bright red in color becoming tan as they mature. Habit and growth rate: Plants grow to 8–10’ in height and 6-8’ wide.
